Todays Edit - 12th Dec 2014

For a moment there, I thought I would not get todays edit out in time.  The reason being that I was at a Christmas party for the Fairways Gorge Outrigger Comp Crew.  So I thought it would be appropriate to have a paddling theme to todays edit.

The photo is from Wetdashe, a dry change relay race here in the inner harbour, Victoria.  Held at the end of November, or rather 'Movember' the event was held to raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer research.    Each team member had to display a moustache, the token symbol of the charity.

The weather was incredibly changeable with wind and rain squalls on minute and sunshine the next, a constant challenge for the racing crews and for the camera exposure.

Cattle Point.

Another of those stormy winter days. When most people are huddled indoors, I'm running out with camera in hand.

Another photo from London edited whilst listening to the wind and rain pounding off the studio window here on Vancouver Island.

5 mins before this photo was taken the sun was out and people were eating lunch outside in street side cafes.  A crack of thunder later and there were about 20 of us huddled for shelter under the canopy of an office building. I dashed out into the downpour to capture this shot. 5 mins later, the rain passed, the sun came out and everyone returned to the patios.
