I began this project a few years ago just after moving house looking at an empty 6ftx6ft bookcase. Placing the Kindle I was reading on one of the shelves I thought - will there be a need for bookcases in the future? Extended research and 5 episodes of Star Trek later without a bookcase in sight it looked like the prediction was beginning to have some merit. But could the Kindle, Kobo or Ipad really replace the printed form ? What else would we lose if there were no books ?
The project is ongoing and ever expanding as I research new ideas and uses for the Kindle.
